Happy National Intern Day! This summer has been wonderful, and I'm so thankful to be a part of Sam's Club.As I near the end of my internship at Sam’s Club I have had so many amazing opportunites and have had the pleasure to meet talented associates who are eager to offer guidance and listen.Some of the highlights have included getting to tour clubs in Lexington and Nicholasville, KY with Brandon Murray and fellow Sam’s Club associates Jeff Black, George Clapper III , John Daming , Stephen Stroud, CCEP , and Hunter Field. Getting to see how our clubs operate was insightful and showed how much Sam’s Club values not only its members but its associates. Thank you Brandon for sharing your knowlege and adivce with me along my journey at Sam’s Club.I have been able to hear and learn from Walmart President & CEO Doug McMillon and CEO of Sam’s Club Chris Nicholas. I had the honor of being able to ask questions to CEO of Walmart International Kathryn McLay , COO of Sam’s Club Lance de la Rosa , and VP of Corporate Affiars for Sam’s Club Amy Sarosiek .As I look back on these past 8 weeks, I'm so grateful for the experience and knowledge I've gained working with the Sam’s Club Marketing & Membership team. This week I start my internship with Sam's Club at the headquarters in Bentonville, AR. Yesterday, I kickstarted my internship by learning about the background of Walmart and Sam's Club. I want to thank Benjy 🎗️ Spiro for helping me through the interview process, Raley O'Neill, and the whole Walmart and Sam's Club Early Career Teams for a welcoming start. I am looking forward to working with Ashley Barrett this summer and the rest of the marketing team. I am excited to gather valuable knowledge from industry professionals and expand my knowledge with the #1 Fortune 500! #Samsclub #Walmart #intern

As my first month at IAU Institute for American Universities comes to a close I have already gained so many wonderful experiences. As a program, we took a trip to Toledo, Granada, and Córdoba. I have seen a couple of UNESCO World Heritage sites and many more wonders. Grateful for these amazing experiences and can not wait for the rest of my time in Madrid!

My spring semester at IAU Institute for American Universities in Madrid, Spain has kickstarted! The program so far has been wonderful. The academic atmosphere, location of the school and intimate class settings have immersed me into a life-changing experience. I can not wait to increase my Spanish skills and explore Madrid. I am grateful and excited about the opportunities the program has given me already!
